THE 2009 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON TOURISM 
“Sustainable tourism within High Risk areas of environmental crisis” 
2-25 April 2009 in Messina (Italy)

The conference is organized by Faculty of Economy (University of Messina) and the Department of Tourism and Services (AES of Bucharest), aiming to bring together prominent economists and other researchers with a special interest on the tourism phenomenon to debate recent advances in tourism economics and management. The Organizing Committee welcomes both fundamental and empirical contributions within the broad theme of advances in tourism and services economics and management. The 2009 conference welcomes also papers stemming from other areas of tourism research, once that a strong theoretical background is provided and a particular interest on the workings and prospects of the tourism markets worldwide is shown.

The papers of the Conference (maximum two papers for every author) will be published in an ISBN numbered CD (to be delivered to all participants together with conference materials). Also the papers of the Workshop (maximum two papers for every author) will be published in an ISBN numbered CD. Papers (with a maximum of 10 pages, single spaced) should be written in English. The sessions will be held in Italian and English.

• Registration fees: 100 Euro for participation in conference or workshop and 150 Euro if you participate in conference and workshop.
